Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a a complex method of balancing the bioelectrical energies of the body. Special points on the skin are stimulated in order to affect an energy balance in the body. These points are located on bioelectrical channels of energy that are called meridians. Energy may be blocked along any of the pathways, resulting in a condition of excess in some channels and deficiency in others. Stimulation of the appropriate point for a particular imbalnce can trigger the outputs in all the channels, leading to normalization of energy flow.
Acupunture releases certain chemicals from the brain that are called endorphins.. Endorphins cause analgesic effect and relieve pain. Acupuncture is in many instances safer and more effective than drug therapy. Some of the conditions we treat are: Sciatica, Low back pain, Headaches/ Migraines, Sinus pain, Arthritis, weight loss, carpal tunnel, tendonitis. We have had great results with those listed above and others.
